Do you have experience selling web-based Content Management (CMS) solutions or other technologies to end-clients? BlueModus is looking for an energetic sales leader who is ready to talk to marketers and technologists about our experience, our technical consulting services and our ability to implement custom platforms.

What You Will Be Doing:

You are responsible for new customer opportunities to grow our customer base. Using your strong prospecting, relationship building and listening skills you will strive to understand a prospect’s web challenges, pain points, and initiatives that can be accomplished by leveraging BlueModus to help them plan, implement and manage their custom platforms. You must be an independent web savvy self-starter and have very strong communication, writing, presentation, and follow up skills. You must have strong software and professional services sales experience and an existing network that could need BlueModus’ technology consulting. This includes:

  • Executing plans to increase BlueModus exposure in key markets and verticals

  • Effectively using the company marketing initiatives and collateral (case studies, white papers and other material) to generate new opportunities/prospects for via calling, emailing, social selling, networking, events and other means necessary

  • Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to match BlueModus services and experience with prospective clients’ challenges

  • Proactively identify and manage sales opportunities within assigned channel partnerships; working closely with their field sales organization and resources

  • Functioning as a consultative salesperson and effectively convey BlueModus’ value proposition to prospective clients as strategic partners to improve their digital business operations and provide a strong Return on Investment (ROI)

  • Qualifying prospects to evaluate the prospect’s capital expenditures and revenue potential

  • Gathering technical and business requirements with BlueModus Solution Delivery Team in response to RFPs to develop detailed proposals to meet customer challenges

  • Expedite the sales cycle by demonstrating superior knowledge of CMS solutions and BlueModus services.

  • Staying current on industry knowledge, general trends, emerging technologies and competitors

  • Using Salesforce to record all prospecting activity and opportunities daily

  • Participating in weekly meetings with rest of the sales team and our President

  • Achieve and consistently exceeding weekly sales goals

What You Need:

  • 5+ years of experience selling software, professional technology services and/or supporting web-based digital and interactive initiatives

  • Experience selling .Net Content Management Systems (CMS) like Kentico or Sitecore a huge plus

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Must have a passion for technology, sales and must be highly motivated to succeed

  • An existing network that could need BlueModus’ technology consulting

  • Willingness and ability to spend 50% of the workday on the phone and/or meeting with prospects and 50% of the workday organizing leads and developing new opportunities

  • Experience selling to CEOs, CMOs, CTOs, VPs and other high level professionals is critical

  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and overcome obstacles

  • Solid prospecting and cold calling abilities and excellent relationship building skills

  • Skillful negotiation and closing abilities

  • Exceptional communication, follow-up and customer-ready presentation skills

  • Be a team player who thrives working with a smaller company where their activities directly affect the bottom line

  • Fast and fluid verbal communicator, able to deal effectively with full gamut of agencies and clients, as well as, technical teams and senior management

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Excellent ability to multi-task and manage personal productivity

  • Excellent PC skills including fluency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
