BlueModus Helps New CollegeInvest Website Move to the Front of the Class

BlueModus announced the successful launch of a new responsively designed website for CollegeInvest, a Colorado-based non-profit that has provided 529 college savings plans and higher education scholarships for more than 30 years.
The website at www.CollegeInvest.org is the organization’s primary asset, and the place its marketing efforts funnel all traffic. But the site had become outdated. The old content management system (CMS) made it difficult for CollegeInvest’s staff to update the site’s content. And visitors had trouble navigating vast amounts of content and viewing it on mobile devices.
To solve these problems, BlueModus embarked on a website redesign and content migration to Kentico CMS 7.0. While creative agency partner, Pilgrim, handled front-end design, BlueModus’ digital marketing team delivered solid technology infrastructure—including platform design, technical architecture, and CMS development and integration—for a new, easy-to-use and manage website.
Since it launched in November 2013, the new website is ahead of its goals. Overall traffic is up 15 percent and mobile traffic is up 176 percent. Plus, 8,000 new accounts have been opened on the site so far this year—74 percent of the annual goal. “The site is looking great and we’re very happy with the work you’re doing for us,” said Michael Beindorff, then Creative/Online Manager at CollegeInvest.
