Radio Free America site earns Kentico Site of the Year Nomination for BlueModus

BlueModus®, the digital marketing technology and solutions leader, is proud to announce that the Radio Free America website has been nominated as a Kentico 2014 Site of the Year finalist, in the category of "Best Community/Social Media Site."

The vision for the Radio Free America website has been to provide a scalable platform where many distinct stations can come together, in order to expose their content to a broader audience.  BlueModus built this brand new site (, with the goal of creating a social community of listeners, radio stations and DJs, through the use of chat channels and allowing listeners to upload their own unique content for sharing. Many challenges were met in this project, including the building of a platform that could handle recording and playback of streaming audio that was also compliant with U.S. copyright laws.

The BlueModus team knew that Kentico was robust enough to handle the specific needs of this highly customized and unique website. The flexibility of the platform allowed for the integration of numerous technologies, as well as the construction of a site architected to seamlessly grow over time.
