BlueModus Continues Toys for Tots Drive Tradition

Posted by BlueModus News on December 20, 2017

For the second year in a row, The BlueModus team has concluded its Toys for Tots drive to help local children in need this Christmas season. Our team members gathered more than 200 toys that were then dropped off to the Denver-area Toys for Tots Drive, run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

By collecting new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distributing those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community, the program provides a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters and to let them experience the joy of Christmas. Nationwide, Toys for Tots collected and distributed 18 million toys to 7 million children last holiday season.

"This toy drive is just one more example of generous nature of our company's team members," says Tom Whittaker, BlueModus Vice President and COO, "Toys for Tots is also charity near and dear to my heart because as a kid, my family was very poor and for several years it was through Toys for Tots that I received Christmas gifts."

It's not too late to help! Toys can still be donated at many drop-off locations, and you can also donate at the Toys for Tots website.
