BlueModus is proud to announce the Federal Home Loan Bank Dalla's website - designed and built by our team – has been named a Top 10 Website for January 2021 by Kentico Xperience. Each month, the Kentico Xperience team selects the top websites to showcase that recently launched on their digital experience platform. Kentico Xperience is part of the Kentico Software product suite. It is their content management, digital marketing, and commerce tools in a single solution for creating engaging digital experiences across channels, on-premises, or in the cloud.
Federal Home Loan Bank Dallas (FHLB) selected Kentico Xperience as their new content management system (CMS). It engaged BlueModus to help redesign and re-platform their website and intranet on Kentico Xperience and away from SharePoint 2013, which would no longer be supported in 2021. The re-platformed sites needed to perform better, meet minimum Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility requirements, offer a better authoring experience, and a cleaner design and better user experience. FHLB also required robust security protocols, where no individual on the BlueModus project team was allowed to have access to all of the infrastructure at any point.
With a definitive launch date of the end of 2020, the BlueModus Team broke the project into sprints. Our team utilized demos with the FHLB team to give high visibility on what was being built. This kept a strong focus on the MVP necessary for launch. To meet FHLB's security requirements, the FHLB and BlueModus teams regularly collaborated during the Azure environments' construction and maintenance that hosted Kentico Xperience and the site. Working together, BlueModus and FHLB were able to launch both sites on time within weeks of each other. The new sites perform better, have fresh designs, and provide a much better experience for content authors. FHLB's team can now stage their content changes for review in a staging environment before moving to production and have the ability to share and re-use content across both sites.
