BlueModus Gives Back to Feline Friends

BlueModus, as part of its ongoing program to give back to our community, has donated $500 to the Cat Care Society, a non-profit with a mission to improve the quality of life for homeless, injured and abused cats in the Denver metropolitan area.

Founded in 1981, the Cat Care Society (CCS) provides a temporary refuge for up to 45 adult cats until an appropriate and permanent home can be found for each one. Veterinary care, premium diet and human interaction are lovingly provided. CCS also sponsors educational programs that promote responsible pet ownership, humane treatment of all animals, and the elimination of pet overpopulation. Receiving an average of 70 phone calls for assistance daily, they provide resources and information about placing cats as well as referrals to other area shelters when their own shelter is at capacity.

“I love all animals, but since I grew up with cats, they hold a special place in my heart,” says Katie Tabler, BlueModus Senior Project Manager, who selected this month’s charity, “I am in awe of people who devote their lives to animals, and the Cat Care Society is a local organization that does great work. Since I can’t volunteer all of my time during the workday to help, I can at least provide some help monetarily, and I think cats are a very worthy cause.”
