Annual BlueModus Holiday Food Drive Benefits Food Bank of the Rockies

As part of the company’s annual holiday food drive, colleagues at BlueModus have come together to contribute generously, in order to help our community members in greatest need. In a company-wide effort, BlueModus colleagues not only participated in a canned food drive, they also donated more than $1,200 to the Food Bank of the Rockies, an amount that will provide over 6,000 meals to hungry families.

The Food Bank of the Rockies, as the largest private hunger-relief organization in the state of Colorado, has provided more than 668 million meals for people in need since 1978. With one of every ten Coloradans worrying where their next meal will come from, the Food Bank of the Rockies provides assistance to a broad population of people in need, including those with low wage jobs, seniors on fixed incomes, those with health issues, and homeless citizens. Nearly half of their food distributed feeds children.

“The entire team here should be very proud. I personally feel lucky to have joined such a supportive team and an organization that extends these strong values outside of BlueModus and to our local communities,” shares Katie Treacy, Director of Strategic Solutions, who coordinated the fundraising effort. “Because of BlueModus, many hungry Colorado families were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with their loved ones.”
