Alan Abair Becomes Kentico Certified Developer

BlueModus is proud to announce the latest technologist to pass the Kentico 10 Certified Developer Exam is Senior Web Developer Alan Abair. Alan, who is responsible for implementing and maintaining websites and CMS tools for our customers, including custom .NET and SQL development, has over 19 years of web development experience, six of those specifically focused on CMS implementations.

“Preparing for this certification exam has given me a lot of very good exposure to the principals and fundamentals of Kentico development and implementation,” says Alan, “as well as a strong understanding of Kentico and BlueModus best practices.”

The Kentico 10 Certified Developer Exam is a secure, online exam consisting of 50 questions that must be completed within an hour. Although test-takers are allowed to use any resource they find helpful during the sixty minutes, the exam must be taken individually. To become certified, a developer must not only demonstrate deep knowledge of the features and functionality of Kentico, but also have practical experience using the platform. Content of the test focuses on subjects such as designing, developing, and maintaining Kentico websites, ASP.NET development, using the MS SQL database management language, and creating data-driven web user interfaces.

“The training to pass the Kentico Certified Developer Exam is important for all developers here as it helps ensure a solid foundation on developing in the platform,” says Nick Bushnell, BlueModus Director of Development for Sustaining Services. “I am proud of Alan for his hard work in learning the Kentico platform since joining BlueModus and for passing this exam.”

BlueModus, as the #1 Global Kentico Solution Partner, remains proud of how many of its colleagues are certified on the Kentico platform. With the addition of Alan, BlueModus currently boasts 18 Kentico Certified Developers, as well as 10 Kentico Certified Marketers.
