Each month BlueModus is pleased to administer a philanthropy project called, "BlueModus Gives Back." The aim of the project is to make a monthly cash donation to needy families, individuals, organizations, or causes nominated by one of our employees.
This month's donation is in support of an American soldier whose life has been forever changed by a family tragedy. SPC Workissa Wube lost his daughter (3 years old), who choked during dinner one evening in March. Workissa had just managed to move his family to the city wherein he was stationed, and, as such, there was no life insurance in order to cover the costs of funeral or wake services, or family bereavement time and travel. Donations were collected and a fundraising dinner was held at the JP Martinez reserve center in order to raise the money that would allow Workissa and his wife to return to Ethiopia for a period of time in order to mourn with their extended family.
BlueModus was pleased to provide a contribution to this cause, and offers condolences to the family.
