Each month BlueModus is pleased to administer a philanthropy project called, "BlueModus Gives Back." The aim of the project is to make a monthly cash donation to needy families, individuals, organizations, or causes nominated by one of our employees.
The Murphy Family has lived in Colorado for 20 years now. Mrs. Murphy was just recently diagnosed with cancer. Complicating matters is that surgery is not an option for her due to other existing conditions. Mr. Murphy is a self-employed, blue collar worker whose business has taken a particularly bad hit in the recent economic downturn. Out of work for several months now, he has been forced to cancel the insurance he must carry for his business and sell his truck and tools to try and put a roof over the family’s head and food on the table for another month. Mrs. Murphy has several medications she needs, as well as several months of large medical bills heading her way. A friend of BlueModus introduced us to this family and told us their heart breaking story about their financial and emotionally trying situation.
