Each month BlueModus is pleased to administer a philanthropy
project called, "BlueModus Gives Back." The aim of the project is to
make a monthly cash donation to needy families, individuals, organizations, or
causes nominated by one of our employees.
This month BlueModus is pleased to announce that this
month’s $500 donation is going to the Denver Rescue Mission (DRM). Each
year the DRM provides Thanksgiving meals to
homeless and low income families with the assistance of local businesses and
individuals. This year, DRM is seeking donations of at least 6,000
frozen turkeys, weighing 12 pounds or more, to feed the homeless and poor
during the holiday season. The drive began on November 1st and by 12:00 p.m.
Friday, November 12th, 1,470 turkeys have been donated. Turkeys can be dropped
off at the Mission’s Lawrence Street Shelter, 1130 Park Avenue West in Denver
(corner of Park Avenue and Lawrence Street). At this time last year, over 4,000
turkeys had been donated. BlueModus is proud to participate in this year’s
drive.
BlueModus has chosen the Denver Rescue Mission for our November “Gives Back” program. If you would like to help the Denver Rescue Mission as well, please contact Derick Viarrial at BlueModus, 303.951.0305 for further details.
