September 9, 2008 — BlueModus Gives Back
Aug. 18, 2008, DENVER, Colo. -- BlueModus today announced the implementation of the “BlueModus Gives Back Program,” a charitable donation campaign that allows employees to nominate organizations, families, or individuals to receive a cash stipend from the company.
An executive team will evaluate the nominations monthly and select one that will receive a $500 donation from the company.
The first recipient of this gift will be the Breast Cancer Research via Ridin’ to a Cure , nominated by Dave Baumgarten. Each year, on the last Saturday of September, the Rock River HOG Chapter of Oconomowoc, Wisc., hosts a fund-raising motorcycle ride for breast cancer research. Last year, the 13th-annual event raised $295,000. To date, the ride has raised a total of $2,948,000 for breast cancer research in southeastern Wisconsin. More news |
